REAL AI is a research initiative based at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where we unlock the new era of scientific discovery: Artificial Scientific Intelligence.
We believe that the future of scientific intelligence fuses rule-based and data-driven AI. Instead of relying on massive datasets, we design our AI models with a principle-based approach grounded in mathematical rigor, scientific knowledge, multimodal scientific datasets, and generative methods. Our research culminates in the creation of digital twins of complex scientific systems—ranging from the human brain to the entire universe.
