Oct. 2025: HerBrain Named One of TIME’s 2025 Best Inventions of the Year
HerBrain, named one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025, is the first digital twin of the maternal brain, using machine learning and brain-imaging data to model weekly structural changes during pregnancy and postpartum. Currently in development and aiming for a 2027 launch, it will help expectant mothers track and anticipate shifts in their brain and eventually integrate with popular pregnancy apps.
Sep. 2025: Abby Bertics, PhD Student and Former AI Reporter at The Economist, Examines AI’s Role in Education and the Future of Learning
Students are increasingly using AI to write essays and solve problems, while professors scramble to keep up. As Abby Bertics reports, universities face a critical question: how will education adapt when AI can think, write, and teach faster than many instructors?
Jun. 2025: AI for Diabetes Wins the American Diabetes Association Abstract Award 2025
Our researchers developed a model to explain how key factors drive glucose changes during physical activity in people with type 1 diabetes, using data from over 1,000 exercise sessions.
